There will always be further room for improvement, you can come up with better algorhythms, for AI, graphics and anything else you care to think off.
So, games will always continue to improve..

They should not even need a third party to mention it, when PCs are heading towards gigabytes and multi-processors, The consoles as dedicated gaming machines, need to raise the bar on gaming.
I think it's just margeting kak, I'd run any game at 720p then at 1080p just to get a better frame rate and I've been saying the same for a year now..
Ok, Epic may have encouraged to put 512 instead of 256. But how would a move from 256 to 512 cost 1 billion??

I completed it, tried online and gave up about 9 months ago.. Didn't bother trying despite knowing they have finally fixed the lobby issue..
It is superb.. Plays well, usually lag free (in 3 hours, I had one laggy game). And the online game scenarios are awesome..
Nuff said.
It's total rubbish.. Tried playing one game last night, nothing, just sitting on joining.. Then I gave up and played 3 hours of COD2 online..
Tell me it isn't so.. I read somewhere that it's 4 player online..
I'm sure the frame rate will be up there too, I can trust Unreal guys to deliver on this..
But I don't use them, haven't even bothered to open them, instead I use normal batteries that last over a month for me.. More if I'm not playing as much.
But, atleast I have the choice.

They should have made the batteries replaceable in the first place.. A pretty stupid oversight on their part..
As an on the ground FPS, it's 'o.k',
However, once you add the weaponary, the health system from Halo2 (alot of games are now adopting it.. inc COD2/3 and GOW), and the vehicular fun, this games becomes a greater classic with every release.
And also the ability to explore the massive environments.. cool..
